Sensory guided walking tours for visitors with sight loss & carers

This sensory experience gives you the chance to touch and smell elements in the Gardens in the company of one of Kew’s Visitor Guides. These are run on the second Sunday of every month.

The date for your diary is Sunday 8 March. Meet at Victoria Gate at 11.30; the walking tours will last about one hour. Guide dogs are welcome

Orchid Festival in Kew Gardens

We still haven’t heard yet if there’s to be a dedicated date and time for you to experience the mass of orchids in the Princess of Wales Conservatory, before the gardens open.

The person who was co-ordinating this has had to take some compassionate leave and so the details were not confirmed by the time that we recorded this programme..

However, if you are interested, all we can do at the moment is to suggest that you save the date, and if you are interested, then contact Valerie Munro either by email: [email protected] or telephone 07887 716 777.

Hopefully arrangements will be confirmed sometime very soon.
